Community: I am interested in joining STM to give back to the community

STM lays the foundation for future academic success because the skills learned are transferable to other subjects. In addition, students develop lifelong important skills where they can use their creativity and innovation for future careers. Their learning and creativity equal innovation.​

STM provides an opportunity to step away from gaming stations and cell phones and redirect interest in technology to learn about how technology is used around the world. Students can explore different career options available to them and take courses in technology and coding to acquire early knowledge. Connecting with a good network of future young leaders is another great aspect. STM’s Corporate Explorer is one of my favorite parts of my son’s STM summer experience. ​ 

Shifting TechMindset is amazing. I have watched my 14-year-old son, who is a part of the program, excel in all that he does. In a short amount of time, I’m amazed by the knowledge he has acquired through the program. He’s always excited and looks forward to getting his work done with his peers. The collaborative effort in the program is amazing. The time management course was very transformative for my son. He’s put every skill he has learned so far into practice, and we just watch him excel in all that he’s doing.​

STM is about learning new things that you might not be able to learn by yourself. Another benefit of STM is that it offers you the opportunity to have something to do after school, especially if you are bored. And you get to meet new people.

It also helps me connect with other students who have the same drive as I do. STM helps prepare High School Students for College, and I would recommend it to my friends because when I’m applying for college, it will set me apart from the other applicants.
