Internship Position: Research, Outreach, and Event Planning
Job Description:
We are excited to offer high school students a unique summer internship opportunity. This unpaid internship will provide hands-on experience in research, outreach, communication, and event planning. As a Summer Intern at STM, your responsibilities will include:
- Researching and creating an outreach engagement strategy to connect with elementary through high schools.
- Developing an execution plan for the “Youth in Tech” event, which STM is launching in January 2025.

Qualifications:
- High school students interested in developing leadership skills, project management, communication
- strategy, effective negotiation, digital technology, and event planning.
- Proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Basic understanding of research principles.
Duration: Summer internship (8 weeks), starting June 10 and ending August 5.
Location: Remote
Compensation: This is an unpaid internship opportunity as part of STM’s Imagine the Growth Summer program.
